Diya Yan is a second-year master student in the Engineering and Technology department at CQUniversity. Her main research interest centers on construction safety science and site management. Her master’s research investigates the antecedents of construction workers’ safety compliance and how to improve their safety performance by developing a framework about safety compliance in the Australian construction industry. She is proficient in Python 3, which allows her to apply advanced machine learning techniques for developing programs. She is a student member of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AIQS) and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
