This research followed three separate stages. Stage 1 consisted of interviews with disability sector professionals, referred to in the research as industry participants, to seek advice on the research proposal. This data was used to inform the research design of Stage 2, which consisted of a series of photo-based workshops that resulted in a body of creative artefacts. The co-designers with ID involved in Stage 2 are referred to in the research as co-designers. Specific artefacts produced by both the co-designers and the researcher were selected for dissemination in Stage 3 via exhibition, theatre screenings and a photobook. The photobook is a culmination of photographs created by the co-designers and the lead researcher. It showcases the visual narrative of the Stage 2 and 3.
