"There is an expressed need for education initiatives that address issues concerning teacher practice and professional learning. Currently there is an absence of professional learning programs that enhance teacher practice for the 21st Century. This research concerns the design and development of a teacher professional learning program (PLP) using a partnership approach. .. The research was framed through a case study that utilised surveys, focus groups and in depth interviews. A research design comprised of three phases resulted in a PLP that evolved specific to identified teacher practical professional learning needs."--Abstract.
