Structural characteristics of wood composite I-beams

Wood composite I -beams for many years were limited to special applications, but are now becoming a very important component of light frame floor and roof systems. This study is concerned with the investigation of the characteristics of wood composite I -beams. The objective was to make predictions as to working stiffness and suitability of such beams in structural applications.
