"The primary aim of this study was to examine the requisite skills for effective executive leadership of infrastructure businesses. The leaders under particular focus were those currently operating in the upper three levels of an organization (senior management to executive and Board levels) and who may or may not have obtained engineering qualifications. The study explored whether these leaders, as exemplars of executive leaders of infrastructure businesses, were deemed to be effective or ineffective as perceived by expert reviewers who also operated at these executive levels. A secondary aim was to develop a methodology that would enable access to these leaders"--Abstract.
