"This research focuses specifically on the pre-service teacher during professional placement. This research investigates the pre-service teacher's role as well as the mentor teacher's role in mentoring relationships during their professional placements. It also investigates the use of peer mentors within a mentoring triad model. In the research, the mentoring triad consists of a mentor teacher, a first year pre-service teacher and a final year pre-service teacher"--Abstract.
