This research is concerned with answering the research questions to achieve the research objectives, with the hope of successfully applying a novel deep learning-based approach to the lantana camara weed problem. A review will be conducted in order to determine the advantages and disadvantages of current weed control approaches. Consideration will be given to the specific situations in which the weed problem manifests itself to develop a novel approach to dealing with it in the future. Following that, observational studies will be carried out to demonstrate the applicability of the new approach.
