"This research is concerned with the development of a framework that can be used to guide online course development for academic staff. The research has been framed using existing literature, and explores the factors influencing the approaches academic staff use when developing an online course. It also explores the appropriate strategies universities can use to maximise academic staff use of the online learning environment. In this respect, the research adopted a mixed methods research design"--Abstract.
