A decision making pathway: Selecting an early childhood education and care centre

Decision making is a common occurrence in our lives. Research into the process used by people or groups of people is primarily located in the fields of business, marketing and psychology. However, in the field of education the Decision Making Process (DMP) concerning the selection of an Early Learning Centre (ELC), also called daycare or child care, is largely under researched. This research concerns itself with the decision making process used by parents when selecting an early childhood education and care centre for their child.
