In January 2010, Queensland Police Service (QPS) Caboolture District and Caboolture Child Safety Service Centre developed a new response to the high volume of repeat calls to domestic and family violence occurrences within the catchment area. This included an emphasis on situations where vulnerable children and young people were at risk of experiencing violence in the home.
