To begin with, curriculum leaders need a serious commitment to democratic curriculum changes, informed by a concern about social injustice and a humble disposition towards redressing peoples' marginalisation and exploitation...Curriculum leaders need vision and practices that are inclusive in scope, grounded in a concern for the marginalised and which build alliances across social differences"--p. 3.
