The Land and Water Resources Research and Development Corporation (LWRRDC) initiated this consultancy in 1996 to enable the grans industry in Central Queensland to take the lead on monitoring the condition and trend of the resource base, using sustainability indicators which are of direct applicability to grain growers.
This work will be linked to the Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC) project "Sustainable Farming Systems for Central Queensland' which commenced in January 1997.
