"This project addresses the limitations of existing three-dimensional virtual learning environments (3DVLEs) and aims to raise awareness of the potential of 3DVLEs as generic pedagogical tools for flexible, experiential and community-based disciplinary and cross-disciplinary learning in simulated environments. The project has involved collaboration between the University of South Australia (UniSA), Edith Cowan University (ECU), Monash University, RMIT, The University of Sydney, and the University of Sheffield (UK), in consultation with accessibility specialists, legal advisors and human rights representatives."--page 1.
