Executive summary of a review of the first twenty NSAI audit reports

This review will look primarily at the themes emerging from audit reports. ‘Themes’ means common issues both of content and process. AUQA wishes to use the results of this review to improve audit processes for future NSAI activity, to develop further processes and guidelines to assist NSAIs in their quality management systems, and to inform the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) which will be a new agency to regulate the Tertiary Education sector to be formed in 2010–2011.
