This document is an information paper designed to accompany the 'Port Curtis Natural Resource Management Strategy' (Tucker et al. 2000). The Strategy was developed through community consultation and 'provides a framework for agreed actions to address issues that the community identifies as important for the natural resource management [of Port Curtis]' (Tucker et al. 2000). This information paper describes the state of the environment in Port Curtis and highlights areas requiring further investigation. Together, these documents provide a sound foundation for the future management of natural resources in Port Curtis
