This report includes a comprehensive literature review of the current housing issues confronting the Bowen Basin region. Further to this milestone report, ongoing activities will include a socio-economic characterisation of the urban and rural centres (16 towns or localities) of the region with an emphasis on housing related trends, and a discussion of current and future housing options with regional policy implications.
