The research aims to investigate the perspectives of academic staff at CQUniversity from different discipline areas, concerning (1) internationalisation in general and the presence of international students in their institutions in particular and (2) how these two perspectives have impacted on their teaching practice. The research highlights the importance of bringing the voice of academic staff into the debate on internationalisation of higher education so as to gain their perspectives more as ‘educators’ than as ‘policy makers’ or ‘marketers’.
