Visual Narratives by Adults with Intellectual Disability - My creative artefacts: A series of documentary photographs

These photographs were produced during the research project, titled Visual Narratives by Adults with Intellectual Disability. This is a selection of the social documentary photographs created during the workshops held in Stage 2 of this research project. My creative and photographic practice revolves largely around social documentary work and so naturally it was part of my approach during the project. The photographs document the co-designers and staff as they worked to produce their own visual narrative and document their own experiences. The project focused on the work of the co-designers so these photographs were not exhibited, however I have published them alongside the exegesis for reference and context.<p></p>
