Biography of a physicist

In 2014, I collaborated with Dr Margaret Wegener, of the University of Queensland Physics Department, to produce a body of work for exhibition at the 2014 Australian Physics Congress themed ‘The Art of Physics’. We explored discarded materials from the Physics laboratory and converted these into wearable (jewellery like) works of art, the term ‘Labpunk’ was coined to describe this collaboration. This year, the UNESCO International Year of Light, inspired me to look again in the Labpunk repository to create a work that would highlight both the theme and Margaret’s work, as a physics educator.
