Writing and publishing clinical articles : a practical guide

The sharing of knowledge among nurses and clinicians can strengthen the healthcare professions. In thiscontext, many clinicians underestimate the relevance and importance of what they can contribute, and find the idea of writing for publication daunting. This article presents a practical approach to writing clinical articles forpublication in professional journals such as Emergency Nurse. It covers the characteristics of clinical articles,their structure, choosing a journal and how the editorial process should be understood.
