During the COVID-19 pandemic, everyday life was disrupted resulting in mental health and wellbeing impacts across populations groups (Chandola et al., 2020; Guo et al., 2020; Holingue et al., 2020; Malini et al., 2021; Rossell et al., 2021). Social distancing measures to control the spread of the virus contributed to fear, anxiety, and distress (Chandola et al., 2020; Chiesa et al., 2021; Holingue et al., 2020; Lee et al., 2020). Working from home and home schooling created additional pressure to maintain daily routines (Haider et al., 2020; Reznik et al., 2021) with many people struggling as a consequence.
