Virginia Woolf's brain : mysticism, literature and neuroscience

This paper argues that some of the seemingly mystical aspects of the writings of Virginia Woolf can be explained with reference to the understandings of contemporary neuroscience of the differential functions of the left and right hemispheres of the brain.
