This paper pinpoints the rhetorical triangle in the speeches of Hezbollah's Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrullah and its implication. Drawing on critical discourse analysis, this paper illuminates the macro- and microstructure of Nasrullah's speeches. It contextualises the analysis through shedding light briefly on Nasrullah's biography and identifying the contexts of his speeches before pointing to their general structure and exploring their rhetorical triangle - ethos, logos and pathos. It also interprets the meaning of the relevant signs in these speeches because they contribute to the rhetorical triangle and ultimately boosting Nasrullah's popularity and credibility. In this vein, this paper concludes that the three components of the rhetorical triangle in Nasrullah's speeches are correlated altogether to achieve the goals of this leader and his organisation.
