You will have recently seen several positions advertised within the Australasian Journal on Ageing (AJA) editorial team. Last year, we advertised for a new associate editor and were fortunate to recruit Associate Professor Stephen Neville from AUT University in Auckland. Stephen's recent research and publications include loneliness in older people living in the community, retirement, attitudes of care staff towards sexual minority groups, the life experiences of gay men over the age of 65 years and why new graduate nurses choose not to work in residential care, mental health and primary health-care settings. He is the current president of the New Zealand Association of Gerontology. So we aptly now have two associate editors from New Zealand. --(first paragraph)
