Paramedic use of realistic simulation in education (PURSE)

journal contribution

Significant bodies of evidence have suggested the importance of simulation based learning for medical education in training of physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals. Although there is a large body of evidence in other medical fields, there has been very little reported evidence of simulation use in paramedic education. We are examining the prevalence and types of simulation used in Canadian Paramedic education. We intend to assess gaps in simulation use.
