Mildura, Victoria : Aboriginal health promotion short course

The Victorian Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organization (VACCHO) recently conducted an Aboriginal Health Promotion Short Course to improve nutrition and reduce the chronic disease burden among the Victorian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island community who have a higher risk of suffering cardiovascular and type 2 diabetes. Guest speakers provided specialist presentations on key health issues and assisted participants in the development of their health promotion programs.
