Intra-urban migration and housing provision : Grenoble 1962-68
Recent Studies of intra-urban migration in Western Europe have shown considerable variation in rates of movement throughout the twentieth century. At the beginning of the century high rates of intra-urban movement were associated with private renting by workers in conditions of housing pressure in the growing industrial cities.
