How rank is a rank order? : the debacle of TE scores

This article is the second of two which report on an investigation of teachers and pupils and the systems of assessment of ROSBA and TE scores. It looks at the perceptions which people which teachers and pupils have about TE scores. The case study was limited to teachers and pupils of English. There may be wider applicability, however.
