The field of genetics and genomics and the use of genomic technology in particular are rapidly expanding worldwide in clinical practice and research. Genetic testing is used as a screening and preventive strategy which provides targeted treatments so that patients’ lives can be improved.[1,2] There are two types of genetic testing.
