Book review of: "Frontiers in Higher Education. No. 72 in the At the interface/Probing the boundaries series / by Tom Claes & David Seth Preston (eds.), isbn: 9789042030961, Rodopi, Amsterdam & New York, 2010." Resulting from a collection of papers delivered at a 2008, inter-disciplinary conference in Budapest, this text brings together 17 academics, each electing to investigate one of the different obstacles facing higher education around the world today. Grouped approximately into three thematic areas, Claes and Preston have edited together 12 conference papers as chapters, nearly every chapter taking a case-study approach to a global issue, exactly what one might expect from an inter-disciplinary round table.
