Buku cerita bergambar untuk pembelajaran mitigasi bencana gunung meletus bagi anak usia dini [Picture story book for early childhood eruption volcano disaster mitigation learning]
Disaster mitigation education should begin early. One approach is to use children's picture books. In this study, researchers examined the display and delivery of mitigation education, with the specific theme of volcanic eruptions, in children's picture books. The goal of this study is to learn the quality of the book on disaster preparedness education used in the kindergarten. The study was undertaken using methods of qualitative research. Data sources derived from book analysis and in-depth semi-structuredinterviews with 3 kindergarten teachers and 3 parents of small children (3-6 years old).The results of this study are: 1) the display and delivery of the book is not yet interesting; 2) the material (paper) used is easily damaged; 3) language is not easily understood by children; 4) pictures are easy to understand. This research provides feedback howtoenhance the quality and efficacy of children's picture books fordisaster mitigationeducation.
