Assisting the ESL student with linguistic difficulties in the secondary classroom

This article looks at ways of adapting the material presented in an earlier article (English in Australia 72 [June 1985]) to make it more comprehensible to the ESL pupil and at ways of altering classroom procedure to reduce areas of difficulty for the ESL pupil.
