The process of threshing is crucial in separating seeds from harvested plants. Kimseed has recently developed the Multi-thresher CW09(b) for research labs and seed vendors. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of Kimseed’s threshing equipment for sesame and determine the optimal setting parameters. Laboratory experiments were conducted with varying levels of rotor speed and blade angle. The Kimseed multi-thresher proved effective for sesame when the rotor speed was between levels 6 to 8, and the blade angle was between levels 1 to 2. The highest capacity of 15.39 kg/h was achieved at the speed of level 8 and the blade angle of level 3. Blade angle level 1 resulted in better threshing efficiency than blade angles 2 and 3, with the threshing efficiency above 97%.
