journal contribution
posted on 2019-11-28, 00:00 authored by Lynne Parkinson
In October 2018, the Australian Government announced a Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety.1 One response from Australasian Journal on Ageing to this call to action was to commission three Virtual Issues focusing on the terms of reference of the Royal Commission. An Editorial supporting the first Virtual Issue—Quality and Safety in Aged Care Virtual Issue: What Australian research published in the Australasian Journal on Ageing tells us—appeared in Issue 1 of 2019.2 This current issue includes the Editorials supporting the second and third Virtual Issues: It’s time to move from researching problems to providing solutions3; and Delivering inclusive and quality services in community and residential aged care settings.4
