This project proposes to expand understanding of gambling related cognitive fallacies through their relationship to core knowledge confusions. The core knowledge confusion scale was revised and found to be a valid measure, predictive of paranormal belief. This dataset tests the association of the CKC-R to the influence of metaphors on decision making. The dataset includes responses to a crime vignette across three conditions: crime as a beast, virus, or no directed metaphoric association. The dataset also contains demographic information, and classification tasks checking the responses are aligned with their appropriate metaphor condition in scoring.
