Work based learning : quantifying enhancements to healthcare practice

A qualitative project was conducted to quantify enhancements to practice as a result of undertaking a workbased learning (WBL) programme. Key themes identified were the development of knowledge, reflective skills and the development of transferable skills, which enabled participants to challenge practice, therefore encouraging innovation and demonstrating lifelong learning.
