Web sites as theme parks : an exercise in lateral thinking

Creative new ideas about interface design can arise from exercises in lateral thinking, such as mentally linking together concepts that are normally unrelated. Juxtaposing the concept of Web sites with the Disney-pioneered concept of theme parks produces some interesting hypotheses.
