Usage intention of healthcare information service among college students
Healthcare information service is one efficient prevention-oriented way to relieve the lifestyle caused disease, which may influence the young generation more frequently. In order to explore college students’ attitude toward healthcare information services, this study proposes the research model based on Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), where four determinants of the core part of TAM are derived from previous literatures. A set of survey data collected from students of a university in Korea was used to conduct the empirical analysis. Results support the model and indicate that technology self-efficacy and health information credibility are critical factors affecting in the acceptance process of healthcare information services by college students.
