The purpose of paper was to explore the nature of the relationship between internal communication and team performance in Australian five-star hotels that host business events. A mixed methods design was adopted to explore the nature of the relationship between internal communication and team performance. The study was guided by eight research questions. The first of these were a broad qualitative research question, whereas the other seven were more specific quantitative research questions with associated hypotheses.
