Parthenium weed infestation in the Central Queensland, Australia, region poses a serious threat to the environment as well as the economic viability of areas occupied by agricultural industries. Government agencies have taken steps to control and manage existing infestations and also to curb future spread of the noxious weed. One of the steps is the development of P-Expert, an integrated expert advisory system based on a fuzzy-logic system framework incorporating various information technologies (Its). This paper introduces the framework that will help unify each required component into a single, cohesive, and manageable framework. In addition, the project also provides a proposed deployment framework.
