Teaching on line is about psychology: Not technology

A major issue that is missing in the literature on on-line teaching is a discussion of its psychological aspects. This paper presents the key principles from the literature on the psychology of learning. Their implications to on-line teaching are demonstrated with examples from the authors' "Radical Model of On-line Teaching".
