conference contribution
posted on 2017-12-06, 00:00 authored by Nirmal MandalNirmal Mandal, M Leong
The prediction and measurements of vibration power flow is important in the detection of the location of vibration sources and confirmation of power flow propagation paths. Methods of structural intensity techniques are compared and reviewed in this paper. Focus is alo made on the likely future trends. Area of anticipated interest include complex structures with built up edges, stiffeners, and with the modification of the geometry of beams and plates.
