Qualitative understanding of post-earthquake devastation in Nepal. This project is academic undertaking among the following researchers. The research intends to understand the stories of participants who were directly affected by the tragic earthquake. The stories provide full extent of living experience of the communities and their strategies to cope and adapt to the humanitarian tragedy and address their future livelihood and current needs of social and environmental conditions in which they carve their living. This study intends to directly support local communities’ initiatives and relief agencies that were immediately available for rescue operation and providing services. In a larger context it offers policy guidelines in which researchers have strong networks with appropriate agencies.
