Perceptions of learning in a planned residential development : an exploratory study

This paper reports the perceptions of learning of 31 people in a recently established greenfield residential development in Australia where the marketing slogan, “Live, learn, work and play” was used. Findings provide an insight into the perceived role of learning in the community’s development and its potential contribution to social capital.
