Optimal control of delay differential equations using evolutionary algorithms

conference contribution
posted on 2017-12-06, 00:00 authored by Stephen Smith
The application of Evolutionary algorithms to the optimisation of Delay Differential Equations (DDE) is a very new area of research. This is, in part, due to the complexity of the equations themselves and the numerical intensity needed to solve them. This paper reports on some promising initial investigations into the development of a black-box solver using this technique.
