Online community networks for enhancing community strength and culture: A way forward?

This document examines the evolution and function of online community networks in the United States. It goes on to examine how online community networks can intermesh with more traditional geographic community networks. It is established that the online community network has a role in geographic communities that will be more integrated as people normalise their interactions with computer-mediated communications.
