This paper is concerned with modelling and dynamic output feedback (DOF) controller design for networked control systems (NCSs) with packet dropouts, network-induced delays and data drift. First, the polytopic-uncertainty-based data drift is introduced to formulate some new models for closed-loop NCSs, where packet-dropouts and network-induced delays from both the sensor-to-controller channel and the control-to-actuator channel are taken into account. Second, based on the new models, several sufficient conditions are derived such that the closed-loop NCSs is mean exponentially stable with a prescribed H∞ performance. Third, an iterative algorithm is proposed to solve out the desired DOF controllers. A numerical example is finally taken to show the effectiveness of the method proposed in this paper.
