In the light of continuous changes which may result from the astronomic growth of knowledge and globalisation, students have to become lifelong learners in order to be able to cope with the demands of a dynamic work environment. 'Problem-based learning", 'action learning' and 'service learning' many enhance the preparation of students for the workplace.The author gives account of the results of his implementation of these strategies in his teaching and facilitating of students to take up their positions as employees in a learning organization.
