Is it hot in here or is it just me? : mid-life/menopause as an auotbiographical visual journey
conference contribution
posted on 2017-12-06, 00:00 authored by J HeronThe reflective making of art informs my learning, teaching and ongoing autobiographical research. It is a personal means to find balance and connection with the world, especially during times of change. Since change has been the keynote of my previous visual explorations it is particularly apt that the phenomena known as the “The Change” should be the focus of my application to undertake doctoral research. In so many ways a journey of discovery, the impact of this mid-life passage is multi-layered, encompassing both my doubts and my search for a greater meaning.
