Implementing best practice in nutrition and hydration support in residential aged care: staff experiences of Participatory Action Research and sustainability of practice change

This team is currently implementing and evaluating a ParticipatoryAction Research project, funded by the AustralianGovernment Department of Health and Ageing under theEncouraging Best Practice in Residential Aged Care(EBPRAC) Program, to support development and implementationof best practice nutrition and hydration in nine agedcare facilities throughout NSW. In each facility, projectactivities are locally chosen, based on best practice guidelines,with sustainability as a key feature.
